Healthy Living Clinic

The Healthy Living Clinic (HLC) identifies psychiatric patients at increased risk of cardiac disease secondary to risk factors including side-effects of psychiatric medications.  Through a 16-week exercise/education program in a social setting the HLC provides patients with healthier choices for living (various topics include diet, exercise, smoking cessation, relaxation techniques, and dental care).

Services are provided by a professionally trained and qualified multi-disciplinary team consisting of registered nurses, a family physician, a recreational therapist, a dietician and administrative support.
