This program offers services to children, adolescents, and adults suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia and mixed syndromes, and provides supports for their families. The Nipissing Eating Disorders Program is a community-based assessment, case management, education, support and professional consultation program. It is based on the principles that eating disorders are complex, multi-determined conditions, which require treatment strategies focused on nutrition rehabilitation, normalization of eating and psychotherapy to address underlying causes, attitudes and behaviours.

Admission Criteria and Referral Process:
Referrals are accepted from the patient seeking help, family members, friends, medical practitioners, social workers, therapists, counsellors and community agencies.
